The Nycotest PT-INR is a reagent used for screening of the extrinsic coagulation system with excellent sensitivity in the normal range. Its primary use is for control of oral anticoagulation therapy.
Test specific information- Combined prothrombin time (PT) reagent
- Lyophilized reagent. Contains rabbit brain thromboplastin and adsorbed bovine plasma
- Sensitive to the depression of factors II, VII
and X - Insensitive to heparin in therapeutic doses
- ISI-value close to 1.0
- Capillary blood, citrated venous blood and citrated plasma can be used
- Can be measured on the Thrombotrack instruments
- Adaptability to automated coagulation instruments
- Kit size: 60 tests and 150 tests
